Welcome to the official website of the Cerritos Girls Club! Our program holds monthly meetings to teach girls about virtues that are lacking in society, but much needed to be a well rounded citizen. The basic virtues that are taught can be elevated to supernatural virtues. Although we are Catholic, this club is for all girls, non-Catholics, non-Christians, and even girls with or without any faith.
We aim to teach our girls:
- to use their talents to lead and serve others at home, at school, and in the community
- to develop their ability to communicate, to interact with others, and form lasting friendships
- to develop intellectual skills in pursuit of excellence in study and at work
- to be generous in giving themselves to others
- to learn about character development with emphasis on acquiring leadership skills
- to use various opportunities to to put virtues into action
- to increase artistic and aesthetic sensitivity
- to develop skills to care for the home
